Commenting on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s visit to Murshidabad, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh launched a sharp attack, accusing her of encouraging jihadist elements. Ghosh claimed that Banerjee’s decision to hold a meeting with imams immediately after the violence in Murshidabad clearly reflects her appeasement agenda. He further alleged that instead of allowing a fair probe by a central agency, the Chief Minister ensured that key evidence was destroyed before her visit to the site.
